SUSPENSION 39 25. SUSPENSION ECIE / PRE-LOADING CONDITION NOTE Vehicle Images are only for illustrative purpose actual vehicle may be different for Preloading condition. 1. After working on any of the following fasteners, do not apply complete torque. Just do the partial or hand tightening. Ensure that no clamping torque applied. a) LCA front bush fastener b) Anti Roll Bar c) RTB Pivot mounting fasteners d) Rear Shock absorber bottom mounting fastener. 2. Park vehicle on pit. Image for Illustration only 3. Load the vehicle with two persons in front and one in rear such that one person on driver and co-driver seat each and one person on rear seat in center of seat. The weight of the person seating should be between 70Kg to 80Kg. NOTE:- Loosen the fasteners partially ensuring that no clamping torque applied and bolt is not disengaged from nut. 4. Rumble the vehicle suitably Image for Illustration only 5. Tighten the bolt with the specified torque. 6. It is to be ensured that vehicle is kept loaded as per point no. 3 while performing activity no. 4 to no. 6. 7. Unladen the vehicle. NOTE:- This procedure should be followed for any of above mentioned fastener under consideration of working.
