HVAC 27 THERMISTOR POSITION ON EVAPORATER INSPECTION 1. Dip the sensor in ice water and measure the resistance with a digital multimeter. 2. Then pour hot water into it and check for change in resistance between pin 1 and pin 2 of the thermistor. 3. The resistance should decrease as per the above graph and table CAUTION When checking the resistance the temperature should not exceed the range of -40 0 Cto 85 0 C
