SUSPENSION 26  INSTALLATION: 1. Follow the above steps in reverse order in ap- propriate sequence for its assembly.  PRECAUTION: While assemble / dismantle/ tightening of stab link on vehicle in service, we need to refer following points 1. While tightening of stab link ball joint, first hold the across flat provided other side of nut with spanner and then tighten the nut to desired tightening torque.Fig.37. FIG. 37 2. Shifting of boot should not happen on vehicle while assembly/Tightening of stab link ball joint. Fig.38a & 38b. FIG. 38a (Not Recommended) FIG. 38b (Recommended) 3. If boot shifting is observed before/after while fit- ment on vehicle, then need not to try for re-fit- ment of boot to original position on stab link, as assembly of Retainer ring requires special tool to bring at its original position. In such type of cases, strictly we need fit new stab link instead of boot shifted stab link.
