SUSPENSION 18 7. ON VEHICLE REPAIR FRONT SUSPENSION 7.1. REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF STRUT ASSEMBLY:  REMOVAL: 1.Lift the vehicle using two post lift allowing the front suspension to hang freely. 2.Remove wheel rim cover (if fitted). 3.Loosen & Unscrew wheel mounting bolts and re- move the wheel. FIG. 8 4.Remove ABS wheel speed sensor harness mounting bolt (if equipped). 5.Remove the Stab link and the brake hose mounting from the strut. 6.Unscrew the strut holding bolts (Camber bolt) from the Knuckle. FIG. 9 7.Open the engine bonnet, Remove the strut ac- cess cover. FIG. 10 8.Remove top rubber cap of strut. FIG. 11 9. Using special tool 5424 5890 3201 loosen the top 3 strut mounting nut as shown in Figure. 12. FIG. 12 10.Remove strut assembly from bottom.
