1.05L REVOTORQ ENGINE 52 v. DRAINING WATER FROM PRE-FILTER : 1. Stop the engine allow the pressure to stabilize. 2. Disconnect the sensor pigtail and also disconnect one of the fuel lines either inlet or outlet. 3. Keep a suitable container to collect the drained water. 4. Rotate the pre-filter sensor in anti-clockwise direction for about 2 turns and allow approximately 120cc of diesel to drain and then tighten the sensor. 5. Connect the fuel line and pigtail that was disconnected in step 2. 6. Drain the water from the fuel filter bowl in every service. vi. PRE-FILTER REPLACEMENT : 1. Disconnect the sensor pigtail. 2. Keep a suitable container below the sensor to collect the diesel that will drain. 3. Remove the sensor by unscrewing it in anti- clockwise direction. 4. Disconnect the inlet and outlet fuel lines as indicated in the figure below. 5. Press the vertical snap fit lug and push up the pre-filter assembly. NOTE  It is not recommended to remove sedimentor bottle from plastic bracket. The whole assembly pre-filter with bracket to be replaced.  Pre-filter (without sensor) to be replaced at 45,000 km or 36 months. WARNING  The pre-filter may still contain diesel in it, which may get accidentally spilled onto the operator if it is not handled property.  Fitment :  For fitment follow the reverse order of removal.
