SUPPLEMENTARY RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) 19 CLOCK SPRING ALIGNMENT PROCEDURE ! CAUTION If this alignment is not done the clock spring may get severely damage.  Rotate the clock spring rotor in clockwise direction till it reaches the maximum limit of rotation.  Turn the clock spring in anticlockwise direction for 2.5 rotations from this extreme position. This will be the straight ahead position of the clock spring.  The straight ahead position of the clock spring can be confirmed by arranging two arrows in front of each other as shown in figure  Assemble the clock spring in this position.
