ELECTRICAL 663 ELECTRICAL 8.7 HORN LOCATION Horn is located on the right hand side of the car, behind the front bumper, on cover plate rack & pinion. REMOVAL& REFITMENT OF HORN REMOVAL 1. Remove front bumper. (Refer “REMOVAL & REFITMENT OF FRONT BUMPER” from body section) 2. Disconnect electrical connection. Remove mounting nut of horn and take out the horn. INSPECTION Connect the positive terminal of the horn to battery (+) and negative terminal to battery (-). If a clean and sharp sound is heard, the horn is OK. If no sound is heard, check continuity of the horn coil using a multimeter. If the coil is OK, check the settings of the setting screw. Adjust the setting screw till clean & sharp sound is given out. REFITMENT 1. Connect electrical connection. Tighten mounting nut and fit horn. 2. Fit front bumper.
