BRAKE SYSTEM 543 BRAKES 6. Loosen the mounting bolts of wheel cylinder assembly and take out wheel cylinder assembly. WHEEL CYLINDER ASSEMBLY Removal from vehicle 1. Removewheel (s) (Refer wheel removal procedure/ Wheels and Tires group) 2. Remove brake drum (Refer Front/Rear BrakeDrum assembly removal procedure) 2. Remove brake shoe assembly. (Refer Front/Rear Brake Shoe assembly removal procedure) 3. Attach a transparent (vinyl) bleed tube to the bleed screw having first removing its rubber dust cap. 4. Unscrew the bleed screw 1/2 to 3/4 turn and pump out the brake fluid in a suitable container by operating the brake pedal. Remove the bleed tube. 5. Disconnect brake pipe from wheel cylinder assembly.
