BRAKE SYSTEM 541 BRAKES 5. Insert the Primary PistonAssembly (3) into the bore, with the spring end leading in to the bore. Care must be taken to guide the seals into the bore, hence avoiding any damage to the seals. 6. Hold the Tandem Master Cylinder assembly in a soft jaw vice and depress the push rod assembly. 7. Fit the circlip (8). Ensure the seating of the circlip squarely into the TMC groove. With the help of push rod, actuate the master cylinder pistons couple of times to ensure the quick return of the piston. 8. Fit the master cylinder boot after liberally lubricating the inner side of boot with fresh brake fluid.
