WHEELS AND TYRES 473 SUSPENSION WHEEL REMOVAL FROM VEHICLE (WITH JACK) 1. Loosen wheel mounting bolts. (Do not remove the bolts at this stage). 4. Remove wheel-mounting bolts and take out wheel. NOTE : Place the wheel below vehicle for safety purpose. Installation : 1. Align wheel on wheel hub and tighten wheel mounting bolts (hand tighten) 2. Lower the jack completely then tighten the wheel mounting bolts to specified torque TIGHTENING TORQUE FOR WHEEL MOUNTING BOLTS = 8 - 8.3 Kg-m 3. Fit wheel cap (If fitted on wheel) 2. Do not apply jack against any part of which may deformed. Jacking point locations are shown below. Kindly follow them for safe Jacking. 3. Engage the jack properly at correct jack point as shown for front or rear wheel and slowly lift the vehicle with the help of jack handle.
