ENGINE 273 MPFI 267 ENGINE • Disconnect the line between fuel rail and fuel filter. • Unscrew and remove the two hexagonal mounting bolts of fuel rail on cylinder head. • Take out the fuel rail along with injectors. Inspection of fuel rail and fuel injectors • Visually inspect the fuel rail and injectors for damage or leakage. Replace it if found damage. Refitment Procedure : • Tighten the two hexagonal mounting bolts of fuel rail on cylinder head. • Reconnect the line between fuel rail and fuel filter. • Connect the electrical connectors of both the injectors. • Connect the battery negative terminal. Pin Configuration Stand Alone Diagnosis Refer 3.11.5 Trouble Shooting and Diagnosis. SystemDiagnosis • Use TATAdiagnostic Tool. On vehicle Removal, Inspection & Refitment Procedure Removal Procedure : • Disconnect the battery negative terminal. • Disconnect the electrical connectors of both the injectors. • Release the fuel line pressure ( Refer Fuel System) • Collect the fuel in a separate container.
