240 ENGINE 273 MPFI SYSTEM MAINTENANCE IGNITION COIL (Refer EMS) HT Cable Removal of HT Cable: • Remove the HT Cable fromHT coil end. CAUTION Hold the HT cable nearer to the end as shown in picture. • Remove theHTcable from the Spark plug by pulling slightly. CAUTION Hold the HT cable nearer to the end as shown in picture. Inspection of HT Cable: • Check the HT Cable for any external damage , crack or torned bellow. • Check the resistance value of the HT cable in hot & cold condition using multimeter ( nominal values : 2.2 k-ohm to 5.02 k-ohm).
