ENGINE DTC DESCRIPTION CAUSE DIAGNOSTIC LAMP ( MIL ) DIAGNOSTIC LAMP ( CEL ) Gil When Driven In CNG PROBABLE TROUBLE AREA P1108 Rail pressure sensor Open/ Short circuit Short Circuit" ON OFF ON 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections or Intermittent fault. 2) Sensor supply line Short circuit to Battery/ Ground. 3) Sensor Signal line Short circuit to Battery/ Sensor Supply/Ground. 4) Check the continuity from sensor connector pins to the ECU pins. (CNG rail pressure sensor ECU pin 225) 5) Check for back out of pins at both Sensor connector and ECU connector. 6) Check for damage of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 7) Faulty Rail Pressure sensor. 8) Faulty ECU. P1171 Less fuel quantity than required – CNG Mode ---- OFF ON OFF 1. Blocked fuel line 2.Bad fuel regulator 3. Blocked/leaking injectors 4.Injector delay time not correct 5.Air leakage through intake P1172 Higher fuel quantity than required – CNG Mode ---- OFF ON OFF P1187 More air quantity or less fuel quantity at idle – CNG OFF ON ON 1. Blocked fuel line 2. Bad Pressure Regulator. 3. Blocked/leaking injectors 4.Injector delay time not correct 5.Air leakage through intake P1188 Less air quantity or more fuel quantity at idle - CNG OFF ON ON P1200 Engine overheating, Coolant temperature over 110 deg C Engine overheat OFF ON (Blinking) ON 1. Check cooling FAN. 2.Check radiator coolant level 3. Check engine OIL level. 4. Check for leakages in Coolant hoses. P1201 Engine shutoff due to overheating, Coolant temp over 120 deg C Engine overheat OFF ON (Blinking) ON P1202 CNG Cylinder 1 Injector Open / Short circuit to battery Open Circuit Short to battery ON OFF OFF 1) Loose/ Damaged Connections or Intermittent fault. 2) INJ supply line Short circuit to Battery/ Ground. 3) INJ control line Short circuit to Battery/ Ground. 4) Check the continuity from injector connector pins to the ECU pins.(ECU pin 224-Injector 1 Pin; ECU pin 212- Injector 2 pin). 12 volts should come at the remaining individual pins of the injectors. 5) Check for back out of pins at both Sensor connector and ECU connector. 6) Check for damage of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 7) Faulty INJ. 8) Faulty ECU P1203 CNG Cylinder 1 Injector short to ground Short Circuit to Ground ON OFF OFF
