114 ENGINE 273 MPFI • Fit the front camshaft oil seal using cam shaft oil seal drift (Part No. 2834 5890 06 07). NOTE Ensure that bearing caps are placed at their respective positions according to the numbers and direction (arrow head in front direction) engraved on caps. • Check valve clearance at inlet and exhaust for both the cylinders. If it is not within specified limit, replace shims (Refer ‘Engine General’ Section). • Check camshaft thrust clearance. It should be within specified limits. CAMSHAFT THRUST CLEARANCE STANDARDVALUE WEAR LIMIT 0.1 to 0.3 mm 0.4 mm • Fit the water temperature sensor. • Place the thermostat element and thermostat gasket. • Tighten hexagonal mounting bolts of thermostat wall cap on cylinder head. • Fit the spark plugs using wheel spanner.
