HVAC SYSTEM-AC COMPRESSOR 161 6.0 AC COMPRESSOR REMOVAL AND RE-FITMENT ON VEHICLE:- Removal: 1. Recover the refrigerant down at atmospheric pressure using refrigerant recover unit. a. Open the front bonnet. b. Remove the spare wheel. c. Connect the hoses of refrigerant recover unit to pressure and discharge line adaptor. d. Recover the refrigerant by using refrigerant recovery unit. 2. Remove negative terminal from battery. 3. Lift up the vehicle using 2 post lift. 4. Disconnect electrical connector of compressor clutch. (Accessible from bottom side).
