Circuit resistance above threshold 1) Loose/ damaged connections or intermittent fault. 2) Sensor supply line short circuit to battery/ ground. 3) Sensor signal line short circuit to battery/ ground. 4) Check for back out of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 5) Check for damage of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 6) Check the continuity from sensor connector pins to the ECU pins. 7) Faulty HO2S1 sensor or ECU. 46 P0038 - 12 HO2S2 heater control circuit(bank 1 sensor 2) - circuit short to battery Circuit short to battery 1) Loose/ damaged connections or intermittent fault. 2) Sensor supply line short circuit to battery/ ground. 3) Sensor signal line short circuit to battery/ ground. 4) Check the continuity from sensor connector pins to the ECU pins. 5) Check for back out of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 6) Check for damage of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 7) Faulty downstream HO2S2 sensor or ECU. 47 P0037 - 11 Downstream oxygen sensor heater control short circuit to ground Circuit short to ground 1) Loose/ damaged connections or intermittent fault. 2) Sensor supply line short circuit to battery/ ground. 3) Sensor signal line short circuit to battery/ ground. 4) Check the continuity from sensor connector pins to the ECU pins. 5) Check for back out of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 6) Check for damage of pins at both sensor connector and ECU connector. 7) Faulty downstream HO2S2 sensor or ECU.
