SUSPENSION 35 5. Raise the cross member to the body 6. Fix the Subframe to the vehicle by tightening the four bolts and one screw 7. Connect the EPAS for the rack assembly. 8. Fit the tie rod ball joint of steering rack to the knuckle. 9. Fix the lower arm to the knuckle. 10.Fix the other attachments like 'C' mount and stab link. 11.Install exhaust Front Pipe Assy .(for Petrol). 1.9.5. REMOVAL OF REAR SHOCK ABSORBER AND COIL SPRINGS 1) Lift the car using two-post lift. 2) Remove Rear Wheel. 3) Position the hydraulic jack below the coil spring pad of torsion beam in such a way that it slightly compresses the spring. 4) Loosen rear Shock Absorber bottom fastener 5) Similarly carry out the above steps for the other side. 6) Remove both the shock absorber fasteners holding the torsion beam using hydraulic jack at any one side as shown in Fig.
