ELECTRICAL 200 5.2 AUTO LOCK / DRIVE AWAY LOCKING 5.2.1 Description When vehicle speed exceeds the pre-defined speed threshold value, all the doors shall automatically get locked providing safety to vehicle users. The Drive away / Auto Lock feature gets activated only when 1. Ignition is ON 2. Vehicle speed transition above pre-defined value. 3. All doors are closed. 4. Crash signal is inactive Drive away / Auto locking can be of following two types 1. Single time drive away locking 2. Multiple times drive away locking 5.2.2 Conditional Requirements Activation – The BCM shall lock the vehicle centrally on all the below conditions satisfied: • Ignition Key must be at ON position • Vehicle speed must be above 10 kmph and stays there at least for two seconds. • All doors must be properly closed. (i.e. no door ajar condition) Exit Condition Auto lock mode shall exit when BCM sense ignition ON to OFF and the after key is taken out, then BCM shall unlock the vehicle. Unlock on crash When vehicle crash state is detected the BCM unlocks the vehicle for easier rescue of the occupants. 5.2.3 Operating Voltage Range DESCRIPTION REQUIREMENT VOLTAGE Auto Lock / Drive Away Locking Normal operating voltage 12V Min & Max operating voltage range 9V-16V
