Troubleshooting:- Start Connect the Diagnostic Tool and check for DTCs Is DTC B164C – 00 present? STOP Check DTC present is Current or history Yes History? Yes Is DTC B164C – 00 present? C Yes C Is cable properly connected ? 1. Repair and Connect cable properly. 2. Connect vehicle battery. 3. Turn ON IGN 4. check if vehicle is getting cranked. Disconnect vehicle battery connection. (Please follow the safety guidelines) Check CAN cable connection. 1. Clear the DTC from memory. 2. Turn the IGN to OFF. 3. Start the IGN. 4. Check for DTCs. No Vehicle cranked ? Cable was not connected properly/ damaged Replace cables and check if vehicle is getting cranked . Vehicle cranked ? Replace ESCL No Yes No Yes No Yes No No cable was faulty
