B164C–00 :-No Communication to ESCL - no sub type information Overview:- ISO Code (DTC Code) B164C-00 Customer Symptom 1. On cranking the vehicle Engine is not starting . 2. Power mode will not change Fault Effects (On Vehicle) On cranking the vehicle Engine will not start Lamp Status (If Any) -. Fault Detection Condition When no message received from ESCL after PEPS request, this DTC is logged. Normal Operating Condition On cranking the vehicle engine shall start seamlessly. Probable Trouble Area 1. PEPS ECU 2. ESCL ECU Healing Condition Ignition Transition:- IGN OFF  ACC ON/ CRANK On IGN ON after ESCL authentication, power mode shall change after SSSW pressed.
