B1647–06 :- Bad authentication with ESCL- Algorithm based failure Overview:- ISO Code (DTC Code) B1647-06 Customer Symptom On cranking the vehicle Engine is not starting Fault Effects (On Vehicle) On cranking the vehicle Engine will not start Lamp Status (If Any) Immo telltale lamp on instrument cluster stays ON after IGN ON. Fault Detection Condition On SSSW pressed, PEPS sends key authentication request to ESCL, if any algorithmic fault is detected, PEPS ECU logs this DTC. Normal Operating Condition 3. On cranking the vehicle engine shall start seamlessly. 4. On SSSW pressed, the vehicle power mode shall change. Probable Trouble Area 3. PEPS ECU 4. ESCL ECU Healing Condition Ignition Transition:- IGN OFF  ACC ON/ CRANK On ACC ON after ESCL key authentication request, no DTC is logged by PEPS.
