B223C - 11: Rear Wiper Fixed Interval Signal - Circui t Short to Ground START Connect Diagnostic tool and Run Input Test Routine and operate the switches as mentioned in the input switch test routine specification . Is DTC B223C – 11 logged by Routine? Disconnect veh icle battery connection. (Please follow the safety guidelines) Check connection between BCM and Rear Wiper Fixed Interval Signal pin Are connectors loose? Correct connector fault (Terminals Bend) 1.RemoveBCM Connector. 2.Perform visual check of connectors for pins bent or damaged Is connector faulty? STOP 1. Unlock the veh icle 2. Check continuity between BCM connector p in [C4- 22] Harness side) with Ground [C1-34/C1-47] Continu ity Found? 1. Remove Rear Wiper Fixed Interval Signal 2. Perform visual check of connectors for pin bend or damaged Reconnect connectors f irmly Rear Wiper Fixed Interval Signal Faulty? Correct Connector fault (Terminal Bend) NO YES YES NO YES YES YES NO NO NO Check if Mirror Fold/Unfold Switch input [wiring harness side] is shorted to ground. Correct Rear Wiper Fixed Interval Signal side wiring harness (Short to Ground) 1. Operate RearWiper . Check if Locking action is successful? Reconnect all connectors f irmly YES Correct BCMside wiring harness ( Short to Ground) Continu ity Found? YES NO NO Connect battery and other connectors of BCM ECU, if disconnected.
