B223C - 11: Rear Wiper Fixed Interval Signal - Circuit Short to Ground Overview: ISO Code (DTC Code) B223C - 11 Customer Symptom Rear wiper operates at fixed speed only. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Rear wiper operates at fixed speed only. Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition This fault will be logged after the input switch test routine execution. User has to operate the switch manually during routine. If short to ground fault is detected for Rear Wiper Fixed Interval Signal, then this DTC code will be returned with the Routine results. Normal Operating Condition There should not be any fault returned by routine Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector wired wrong. 2. Rear Wiper Fixed Interval Signal side wiring harness short to ground. 3. BCM ECU fault. 4. Switch damaged or stuck. Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: Rear Wiper Fixed Interval Signal, BCM connector Functionality: If the Rear Wiper Fixed Interval Signal is short to Ground, then Rear wiper operates at fixed speed only. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage. Trouble Shooting:
