START Connect Diagnostic tool and Run Input Test Routine and operate the switches as mentioned in the input switch test routine specification. Is DTC U1012 - 12 logged by Routine? Disconnect vehicle battery connection. (Please follow the safety guidelines) Check BCM and Wake Up On Entry Signal connectors for terminal backout Are connectors loose? 1.Remove BCM Connector. 2.Perform visual check of connectors for pins bent or damaged. Is connector faulty? Check continuity between BCM connector pin [C4-9] Harness side) with battery [C3-2/C3-1] Continuity Found? 1. Remove Other doors switch 2. Check continuity between BCMharness side connector pin [C4-9] and Wake Up On Entry Signal STOP YES NO YES NO Reconnect connectors firmly Correct connector fault (Terminals Bend) YES NO Correct BCM Sidewiring harness (Short to Battery) NO YES U1012 - 12: Wake Up On Entry Signal - Circuit short to Battery Perform the visual check of connectors for pin bend or damaged Is connector faulty? Check continuity at Wake Up On Entry Signal [C4-9] with ground [C1-34/C1-47] Continuity found? BCM ECU Faulty Correct connector fault (Terminal Bend) Correct connector fault at Wake Up On Entry Signal mating connector YES NO YES NO Replace BCM ECU Continuity found? YES NO ReplaceWake Up On Entry Signal wire harness. Check continuity between two terminals of Wake Up On Entry Signal
