Trouble Shooting: START Connect Diagnostic tool and check for DTCs Is DTC B1648-00 present? STOP NO Check DTC present is Permanent or Historic Is History? 1. Clear the DTC from memory 2. Turn the IGN to OFF 3. Start the IGN Is DTC B1651-05 present? YES NO YES YES NO Disconnect vehicle battery connection. (Please follow the safety guidelines) VIN number present in BCM Is BCMVIN number same with IPC? YES Keep Same VIN number as IPC into BCM. NO B1648 – 00 : VIN Number Mismatch With IPC – no sub type information
