B192B – 96: Proximity Sensor Rear Mid LH Failure - Component Internal Failure Overview: ISO Code B192B-96 Fault Effects (On Vehicle) Warning “Park assist system not available” shall be displayed Park Assist functionality may not work. Lamp Status (If Any) NA Fault Detection Condition BCM log this fault when PDC Sensor Hardware fails. (May be stuck / short to ground / short to Battery/damaged) Proximity Sensor Rear Internal Failure / Intermittent Connection. On power up and when sensor is turned from OFF to ON. Normal Operating Condition Zones and Distances should get updated on the HMI as per values received from the PDC LIN sensors. Probable Trouble Area 1. BCM connector Fault 2. Sensor signal lines lose connection. 3. Sensor internal failure 4. BCM ECU faulty Healing Condition 1. Ignition OFF  ON 2. Clear DTC Command Component Details: BCM allows activation of Park Assist automatically with input from the sensor. Preliminary Checks: 1. Check Battery Voltage (9V to 16V) 2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
