P1E05-1: Vehicle Starter Count exceeded-General electric failure Overview: ISO Code P1E05-1 Customer Symptom ESS Autostop/Autostart function will not work. Fault Effects (On Vehicle) ESS Autostop/Autostart function will not work. Lamp Status (If Any) Nil Fault Detection Condition Number of vehicle start count beyond cal threshold after that Start stop not work Normal Operating Condition Auto Start stop button function will be enabled Probable Trouble Area No. of count exceeded after which there could be required to replace the Starter motor Healing Condition After 1 Drive cycles Fault permanent deletion 1. Scan tool Service 14 2. Stack Over Flow. 3. 40 warm up cycles. 4. ECU flashing 5. ECU power fail Component Details: It is a non latch able switch. Its operating temperature is -40 to 85 deg C and operating voltage is 9 to 16V. its lifecycle is 1,00,000 cycles. Preliminary Checks: No. of count exceeded after which there could be required to Reset the counter OR replace the Starter motor. Trouble Shooting:- NA DTC’s Healing Confirmation: - After rectification, ensure the following points by referring engine parameters using TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer.
