Establish continuity by rectifying harness connections as per the circuit schematic START Is there wiring harness electrical continuity between ECU pin 232 & Neutral Gear Sensor signal pin no.1 Sensor supply line Short circuit to Battery It is ok? END Repair the harness as per the schematic Are there any pins backed out from the EMS ECU Connector EMS ECU Sensor Signal line Short circuit to Battery/ Sensor Supply/ Ground. It is ok? Repair the harness as per the schematic Loose/ Damaged/Open Connections of Neutral Gear Sensor signal and battery. Repair the harness as per the schematic Rectify/Replace Connectors Check for damage of pins at ECU connector. It is ok? It is ok? Fault still persists then Replace the Neutral gear sensor Fault still persists then Replace the EMS ECU It is ok?
