1.2L REVOTRON ENGINE 130 V. Assembly of Engine Timing Chain 1. Ensure Camshaft lobes are in correct position (refer camshaft assembly on head). 1. Ensure flywheel locked in TDC position 2. Soft tighten the VCT and sprocket on respective cams with locating dowel. 3. With help of spanner slightly rotate both camshafts to match the arrow mark on VCT and sprocket as shown. 2. Soft tighten the VCT on intake camshaft and exhaust sprocket on exhaust Camshaft with locating dowel and bolts as shown along with Camshaft Sensor Plate. (Ensure the direction of the arrows opposite to each other.) 3. Lock the crankshaft sprocket by using key. 4. Now place the chain over VCT, exhaust sprocket and crankshaft sprocket in such a way that the 3 copper color links of chain matches with the dimple marks of all the 3 sprockets respectively as shown.
