SUSPENSION 23  ASSEMBLY FIG. 16 Check the condition of the components before as- sembly and replace if found Damage. 1.Compress the spring with spring compression tool part No. 2702 5890 3202 to reduce length as done during disassembly as shown in figure 17. FIG. 17 2. Insert the compressed spring on the damper (ensure that the spring end is located at Lug in rubber seat lower, which assembled separately on spring seat) figure 18. FIG. 18 3.Pull strut piston rod up to full extended length. 4. Insert bump stopper. 5.Assemble dust cover on the spring.( ensure dust cover is properly located on spring) 6.Assemble bearing on the dust cover. 7.Assemble bearing dust cover on bearing. 8.Assemble top mount on bearing.( ensure top mount M8 bolt head should be placed in the bearing slots) figure 19.
