ELECTRICAL 95 ELECTRICAL 8.10.5 WINDOW WINDING SWITCHES DESCRIPTION: Window winding switches are used to move lower or raise the window glasses. It gives the signal to window winding controller. Then the window winding controller sense the signal from low current switches and operate the window motor according to switch position ( Manual UP/ Manual Down/Auto Down ). There is an individual switch at each window and a set of switches in the driver's door, so the driver can operate all the windows. Switches are used only to provide a mode signal to controller for further operation, motor current does not pass through the switch. Driver door window winding switch consist of following switches: 1.Window winding switches for all doors 2.Fuel flap opening switch 3.Child / Window lock switch Co-driver, Rear window winding switch consist only window winding switch. WINDOW WINDING SWITCHES: Each window winding switch has four positions:  Off  Manual Up ( MU )  Manual Down ( MD )  Auto Down ( AD ) For operational details refer window winding controller section.
