ELECTRICAL 67 ELECTRICAL 8.9.3 FRONT AND REAR WIPER SYSTEM COMPONENTS: 8.9.3.1 FRONT WIPER MOTOR LOCATION : The front wiper motor assembly is fitted on windscreen support panel. SPECIFICATION: Operating Voltage 10 – 15 V Operating Temperature - 40ºC to +80ºC Noise 50 dB at low speed 60 dB at high speed Insulation Resistance 1 M. Ohm min. REMOVAL: 1.Disconnect the negative terminal of battery. 2. Remove both side wiper arm and blade assembly. (Refer wiper arm and blade assembly removal procedure) 3.Loosen and remove 6 no. of locking clips of plenum assembly. (Refer Plenum assembly removal procedure) 4.Disconnect the wiper motor connector. 5.Remove six mounting bolts of wiper linkage. shown in below figure. 6. Take out the wiper linkage assembly along with wiper motor. 7. Remove three mounting bolts of wiper motor and take out wiper motor from wiper linkage.
