BRAKES 52 6.1.3 OVERHAULING 6.1.3.1 PRECAUTIONS • The pipeline should not be stretched or pulled during fitment or during clamping. • The hoses should be fitted without twisting. • Make sure that there is no fluid leakage at the hydraulic pipe joints. • During filling of brake fluid one should confirm that the fluid is free from dust metal particles, water or mineral oil contamination. • Make sure that there are no air bubbles in the hydraulic circuit. • Inside surface of pipes should be free from dirt, dust and metal particles. There should not be any burr at the pipe end. • All the pipelines and hoses should be routed properly and clamped at given clamping points.
