BRAKES 39 BRAKES 8. Pull out the split pin (1) and remove the clevis pin (2) and keep the spacer and bright washer properly and separate the front brake cable from the hand brake. 9. Pull out the brake holder clip and remove the front parking brake cable. INSPECTION • Check front and rear cable for any damage if so, replace the cable. • Check other parts like plastic bushes; links etc. for damage and replace defective parts. FITMENT For fitment follow the reverse procedure of removal. NOTE • While assembly, ensure that there are no twists in the cables. • Check for the rubber grommets for any damage and if needed replace with new one. • After fitment adjust the parking brake.
