TRANSFER CASE 37 TANSFER CASE E. CHAIN DRIVE 1. Holding each sprocket with drive chain tight and parallel with transfer case, install the drive chain assembly with sprockets to the output shafts. NOTE  The chain lock should face towards the upward direction.  The groove provided on the sprocket of the lower output shaft should be in upward direction. 2. Rotate the driven sprocket slightly to engage splines on the front output shaft. 3. Install the spacer to the front output shaft 4. Insert snap ring into the groove over spacer.
