TRANSFER CASE 21 TANSFER CASE C TRANSFER CASE SWITCH REMOVAL 1.Remove Floor console gear shifter bezel assembly ( For removal procedure refer Body section ). 2.Disconnect the electrical connection of transfer case switch 3. Pry out the transfer case switch from the floor console gear shifter bezel. FITMENT 1.Locate & fit ( snap fit ) the switch in the cutout of floor console gear shifter. 2.Connect the electrical connection of the Transfer case switch. 3.Fit the floor console gear shifter bezel assembly. 4.3.3 OVERHAULING 4.3.3.1 PRECAUTIONS  Do not use hammer to drive in the oil seal and bearing. Use special tools for assembly.  Use a Torque Wrench to tighten threaded parts. Always tighten the parts to the specified values.  Lubricate bearings, oil seals, bushings and matching metal parts before assembly (with oil). 4.3.3.2 DISMANTLING A. REAR YOKE 1. Drain the oil and tighten the drain plug. 2. Position the Transfer case on repair fixture/ work table (Part No 2870 5890 26 08) . Please ensure rubber sheet is placed on the table. 3. Holding the yoke by yoke holder (Part No 2870 5890 26 01) , loosen and remove the locking nut and take out the washer.
