GEAR BOX 48 G. REAR COVER (4X2) DISMANTLING 1. Remove the main shaft oil seal from rear cover with the help of suitable drift. 2. Loosen and remove the adaptor. 3. Remove the oil seal of speedo shaft (if fitted). 4. Pull out and remove the plug from speedo drive. 5. Press out the speedo drive shaft with suitable punch and take out the speedo drive pinion (if fit- ted). INSPECTION • Check for the cracks on rear cover housing. • Check for any damage to speedo gear assembly.
