CLUTCH 24 10. Ensure marking position on adjusting ring, if unfortunately a SAC adjust during mounting process, change the whole set. 11. Ensure that the clutch facing material is not contaminated with oil or grease as this shall result in clutch slipping. 12. Do not use any screw driver or other type of steel material to rewind the adjuster ring. You might damage the mechanism. 13. In any of the cases do not deform the dead stop ring. 14. When SAC or disc fell down on the floor do not use it again. 15. Do not assemble an used SAC together with a new disc or vice versa. D. FITMENT For fitment follow the reverse order of the removal procedure, using the Clutch Mandrel. However, following care must be taken during installation. 1. Clean friction face of flywheel by dry clean cotton and check for cracks, scoring, burn marks or unevenness. If there are any defects replace he flywheel. ™ NOTE Do not machine the flywheel. 2. Check bearing in crank shaft (pilot bearing) for free rotation. Replace sticky / damaged bearing. OR Fit new bearing. Lightly apply grease P40 on the disc splines and pilot bearing inner dia. (wipe out excess grease). 3. Install SAC assembly (Before installation ensures that the disc face stamped with ‘Gear Box side’ mates the pre ssure plate face). Press aligning mandrel through the SAC assembly on flywheel by locating the front end of the mandrel in crankshaft bearing (pilot bearing).
