HVAC 66 DISMANTLING !! WARNING Coolant will be present in the heater coil, so carefully tilt the HVAC unit and collect the coolant in an ap- propriate container to avoid it spilling onto the technician. 1. Loosen and remove 2 mounting screws of right hand side leg duct and separate it from HVAC unit. 2. Loosen and remove 2 mounting screws (1) and remove one tree clip (2) and separate the left hand side leg duct from HVAC unit 3. Tilt the assembly to its right side and loosen and remove 3 mounting screws and take out the temperature operation actuator. 4. Loosen and remove 3 mounting screws and take out the temperature actuator mounting bracket. 5. Loosen and remove 2 screws along with plastic washer and take out the linkage assembly (tem- perature) from HAVC unit.
