Customer Symptom
NA
Fault Effect (On Vehicle)
DCDC Converter is not charging LV battery. Vehicle stops when LV
battery is completely drained
Lamp Status (If Any)
NA
DTC Detection Condition
This DTC gets logged if value of temperature is higher than 85 degrees
Normal Operating Condition
If the temperature goes below 85 ° C
Probable Trouble Area
1. High ambient temperature
2. DCDC internal sensor failure
3. High coolant inlet temperature
4. Vehicle coolant circulation system failure
Healing Condition
Ignition OFF wait till VCU sleeps & Ignition ON
Write up for
the system:-
HV DCDC Converter converts DC high voltage to low voltage to charge 12V battery. The conversion starts with wakeup and
enable signal to DCDC converter from VCU.
Pre-Check Points:-
a) Check whether the coolant level in traction coolant tank is above the minimum level marking.
b) Check the radiator slow fan, radiator fast fan and traction coolant pump are working normally.
c) Check for any pinching in traction cooling system.
