5 LF ANTENNAS
LF antennas are responsible for detection of valid
Smart Key. These are responsible for LF
transmission for valid smart key searching
inside/outside the vehicle for Passive Start Stop
and Passive Entry.
It is passive device which gets energized by ECU
upon start-stop / door handle / tailgate handle
switch press
It consist of two types of antenna, with IMMO
function and without IMMO function. Central
console antenna is with IMMO function enabled
LOCATION
LF antenna is located at following
A. Driver co-driver door antenna.
B. Centre console antenna.
C. Tailgate antenna
REMOVAL
A. RH rear door antenna.
1. Remove the door trims.
(Refer door trims
removal for the procedure in Body Section)
.
2. Disconnect the electrical connection to the LF
antenna.
3. Remove the mounting fasteners and take out
the LF antenna.
B. Centre console antenna.
4. Remove the arm rest and console (
Refer Body
Section for removal procedure).
5. Disconnect all the electrical connections to the
units on the console bin.
6. Remove the mounting screws and take out the
LF antenna.
