4. Lift steering gear by holding mountings /
body cylinder only.
5. Store / transport steering gear resting on
body / cylinder only.
6.
Use steering gears on ‘first in first out’ basis.
7. If any steering gear is dropped, inspect for
damage before using.
8. If any bellow is found damaged, replace it
immediately with a good part & with proper
position of clips
9. If any bellow clip is found missing, do not
use the defective steering gear. Instead use
another new steering gear
10. If the steering gear is off the vehicle, all ports
should be covered with protective plugs to
avoid contamination.
11. Do use steering puller to avoid capsule
collapse & column serration damage.
12. Do use proper packed parts & ensure for
collapse marking not disturbed.
13. Handle part with care and not to fall down
the parts.
14. Always keep your hand on motor while
removing from CCB.
