5.6 Tailgate Switch Unlock
5.6.1 Description
The Tailgate unlock switch is the active high, non-latchable switch input to the BCM. After pressing the
switch, BCM will provide the unlock pulse to the electrical tailgate output pin and tailgate shall get unlock
accordingly.
5.6.2 Conditional Requirements
BCM shall provide the unlock pulse on the 'DoorUnLockCtrlDriver/ Tailgate Unlock' output for predefined
time (330 ms) if all of the following conditions are met:
Igntion (IgnKeyStateIGN) IGN is ON
or
Ignition (IgnKeyStateCRANK) CRANK is ON
or
Engine is in
RUN condition
Tailgate unlock switch signal is active
Vehicle speed is equal to zero
