Diesel Pre-
Heat / Glow
plug indicator
Amber
Illuminates momentarily when ignition is switched ‘ON’ to
indicate that the glow plugs are active. It will continuously
illuminate when engine is getting preheated. Start the
engine only after the indicator goes off.
Turn Signal
Green
Indicates direction indicated by the turn signal. Blinks along
with buzzer while operating left/right turn indicator only
when ignition is switched ‘ON’.
Both telltales shall blink simultaneously when Hazard switch
is pressed.
Tick-Tock sound shall be given when any one or both the
telltales are ON.
High Beam
Blue
Illuminates when the high beam head bulbs are switched
ON or flashed.
Low Oil
Pressure
Red
Illuminates momentarily when ignition is switched ‘ON’.
Illuminates continuously if engine oil level is less than a pre-
defined minimum level. Stop the vehicle as soon as safety
permits and switch off the engine. Check engine oil level
and top-up if required. Contact qualified TATA MOTORS
assistance before starting the engine.

Red
Illuminates momentarily when ignition is switched ‘ON’ once
is cranked, it goes OFF.
It will continuously illuminate when there is malfunction of
charging system. Contact TATA MOTORS Authorized
Service Centre
Park Brake

Malfunction.
Red
This indicator comes ‘ON’ for approximately 4 seconds
when ignition is turned 'ON' and goes ‘OFF’. If it remains
‘ON’, it may indicate:
1. Brake fluid level is low.
2. Parking brake is applied. It shall go ‘OFF’ when it is
released.
3. Fault in ABS/EBD system.
Driver - Seat
belt warning
Red
Seat belt warning indicator comes ‘ON’ for 4 seconds, when
ignition is turned ‘ON’ irrespective of seat belt buckle status.
If seat belt is not fastened then Telltale will be ON as initial
warning with No audio chime. If seat belt remains unbuckled
and vehicle speed goes above 15 kmph, Final Warning will
start with audio chime for 90 seconds continuously.
