2. ON VEHICLE REPAIRS

2.1 BONNET

REMOVAL

1. Open the bonnet.

2. Remove the Pipe connection from windshield

washer nozzle.

3. Pull out the Hood trim from bonnet.

4. Loosen and remove 4 mounting bolts

(

2 in LH

and 2 in RH side.)

5. Lift and remove the Bonnet.

FITMENT

For fitment follow the reverse procedure of the

removal.



HOOD LATCH ASSEMBLY

REMOVAL

1. Remove the 2 Nos. of Mounting screws.

2.

Hood Release cable need to be snapped in

Hood Latch, using first slot towards Cable end.

3. Check if Casting Ball is free in Slot of

Latch Lever is preloaded then fit the cable in

second slot.

4. Pull out the Latch assembly from Radiator

support member.

5. Remove the cable cover in the groove.

6. Pull out the cable from the hook and remove

the latch assembly.

FITMENT

1. Insert the cable in the hook.

2. Also insert the cable cover in the groove.
