B. Intermediate Shaft (Bottom Column) :
1. Remove the RAP/Column bolt inside the
driver cabin .
2. Remove the steering column by sliding up the
column sliding i-shaft.
3. Disconnect the intermediate shaft from the top
column.
4. Ensure proper marking on i-shaft & column
before removing to maintaining & match the
proper phase angle.
5. Pull out the I-shaft assembly from the cabin.
REFITMENT:
For assembly follow the reverse procedure of
removal.
C. Bottom Flange Coupling (Bottom UJ) :
1. Remove the stone guard.
2. Disconnect the bottom flange from the
intermediate shaft by removing the mounting
bolt.
3. Disconnect the bottom flange from the rack
and pinion assembly by removing the
mounting bolt and take out the bottom flange.
REFITMENT:
For assembly follow reverse procedure of
removal.
