B. SYSTEM LAYOUT:
General Description:
The Hydraulic Power Steering reduces the driver's
effort needed to turn the steering wheel. This is
achieved by utilizing the hydraulic pressure
generating by the hydraulic pump, which is driven
by the engine.
The power steering offers the following
advantages:
Reduces steering effort and driver fatigue.
Provides precise steering control.
Absorbs steering shocks, hydraulically
preventing them from being transmitted to the
steering wheel.
Provides absolute control and greater safety,
quickly and effortlessly in demanding
emergencies like sudden tyre failures or car
pull due to malfunctioning brakes.
