FITMENT OF LH DRIVESHAFT
1. Insert the driveshaft at knuckle end & rotate
the driveshaft nut to pull the driveshaft in
knuckle.
2. Insert driveshaft in gearbox end gently. Use
special tool 541258902603 to avoid damage
to oil seal.
Do not fully engage the half shaft until the oil
seal protector has been removed.
Pull on the half shaft inboard joint to make sure
the retainer ring has fully engaged and retains
the half shaft inboard joint within the
transmission.
Pull on the half shaft inboard joint to make sure
the retainer has fully engaged and retains the
half shaft inboard joint within the transmission.
3. Insert the LCA ball joint in knuckle & tighten
the mounting fastener with torque .4.9 ± 0.7
kgm & angular torque 180°±5°.
4. Insert the tie rod ball joint & tighten the nyloc
nut to knuckle at torque 11.5-15.5 kgm.
5. Tighten the drive shaft nut with spacer to
torque 30 ± 1.5 Kgm.
NOTE:
To restrict rotation of driveshaft apply
Brake.
