Perimeter Alarm System

7.1 Description

A solution to the automobile theft problem can be addressed through anti-theft system by making use of

Anti-theft alarm (ATA). On detection of any unauthorized access, the BCM trigger the horn (acoustic alarm)

and optical alarm by flashing the turn indicators.

7.2 Conditional Requirements

Activation –

• Vehicle is in armed condition (Locked)

• Theft condition is found

Deactivation –

•RKE/PKE Lock/ Unlock command is detected

• Valid transponder key is detected in the IGN ON position

• Pre-configured alarm time laps

On Fault –

BCM logs respective DTC.
