2.19 TAIL GATE
REMOVAL
1. Open the tail gate.
2. Remove rear Quarter trims (for removal
process refer rear Quarter trims removal
process).
3. Remove rear ‘C’ Pillar trims (for removal
process refer rear ‘C’ Pillar trim removal
process).
4. Disconnect the tail gate all wiring harness
located inside the “C” pillar trim and pull out
the wiring harness from outside.
5. Remove the top hinge mounting of the tail gate
by removing two mounting bolts. Follow the
same procedure at the other end and separate
the tail gate from the vehicle.
FITMENT
For fitment follow the reverse procedure of
removal.
NOTE
1. Ensure proper tightening torque is given to
the hinges of tailgate. For torque value refer
to the tightening torque table.
2. If shim is damage please replace as per
below process.
3. Location Shim at Tailgate Inner Panel side to
control the Rattling of Tailgate.
4. Remove the shim mounting screw and
replace same procedure.
